I am sending these pictures to you in loving memory of "Franki." I will always be grateful to Franki for the joy and sunshine she brought into my life. She was a priceless treasure. My heart still aches from missing her so."

Such sweet little faces!

These are two of our family...Ellie is the red smooth (Operastar Breeding) and Poppy is the Black and Tan (Dundry breeding) they were the forerunners of the group and are revered by the others.

This is SweetPea, he was born in our kitchen, quite unexpectedly, a week after we had rescued his Mum and Dad from a puppy farm. He has a tail because I knew that he probably wouldn't look much like a pedigree Griffon and so didn't get it docked, he has turned out better than I first thought, except that his nose is too long, as are his legs; his ears are different shapes and work like radar dishes, swivelling independantly of each other; he hasn't much beard and his coat is unruly. But as his photo shows, he has the happiest nature and everyone loves him to bits. His Dad (Jim) was present at his birth and would not leave Lucy (his Mum) alone, I was worried about this but soon realized how inseparable they were. I think they had learned to depend on each other for comfort at the puppy farm. I was very glad that Lucy at last had a puppy that she could keep and even now that SweetPea is two years old, she still gets worried if she can't see him and rushes around until she finds him again.

Meet Jack and Linda and their wonderful Griffs!

A real 3 dog night!
Here is the late Griffy (rough coat), Sam (the bright eyed one) and Rosy (the sleepy one). This shot was taken on Christmas Eve, our pooches were relaxing while Linda & I were wrapping all the last minute gifts. Nobody can relax like a little dog.

Sam perks up
We must be getting to the doggie stocking stuffers.

In the days BS (Before Sam)

Linda and a neighbor with Griffy, the late Cal, and Rosy. As usual, our two smoothies have found the most comfortable spot to snuggle up. Usually you can find at least one of our dogs in either Linda's lap or mine. Gives us a warm and fuzzy every time.

Thanksgiving day with Sam

Can you tell just how taken we are with our little rescue pup?

Jack and Sam on Thanksgiving day
(one month after Sam came to us
from Cindy in Atlanta)

When Sam can't find a lap, the next best thing is to curl up in my arms
