Apart from being a magnificent showdog - Nathan is my beloved house pet and constant companion...and would be even if he had never won a single ribbon.
(The above photo was taken on the 9th of June 1997 when he was awarded one of his BEST EXHIBIT IN SHOWS - It was a special win for me - because it was a memorial show for a Mr Ron Cranwell - the husband of the lady in the pic - and he was a dear friend of mine ....may he be resting in total peace now)

Already a BEST EXHIBIT (TOYS) at a Toy & Terrier Championship show - and a RUNNER UP BEST EXHIBIT IN SHOW at the same show - Mel has also had numerous BEST JUNIOR OF GROUP (TOYS) as well ... and he only came into Australia in December of '97...He met "Nathan" and I now have two house pets - and they are inseparable now ... following me round like shadows ... most of every day ...
Nathan was fortunate to be awarded Best Exhibit in Show at both the shows held one weekend ... the local paper got to hear of it and they sent a reporter and photographer to do a story on the local dog that made good --- so to speak .....
It was a complete surprise ... but of course we were never going to say no to free publicity were we .... :))))))
It turned out to be a great pic that he took ....
