October 7, 1983 - June 12, 1999  Klaudia will be remembered by many for her Texas style of dressing  Her name was Klaudia. She didn’t have a special show career in fact she was lucky to have her championship. She was the last offspring of my Ch. Stardust’s Legacy ( a double grandson of the famous Ch. Barmere’s Mighty Man). Legacy was over 12 when he sired her. At 6 weeks Klaudia suffered an accident while her mom, Ch Stardust’s Hannah, was playing with her. During a chase and playtime Hannah played a little too rough and knocked the wind out of her. Both lungs were collapsed and she was without oxygen long enough to suffer permanent brain damage. While Klaudia was not bright mentally she was so sweet, still healthy in heart, kidneys, and eyes at almost 16. It breaks my heart to have to make the dreaded decision that I did today. She became totally oblivious of her surroundings and no longer responded to the other dogs or to me. She leaves a part of herself with me in her son Nelson 14, and daughter Phoebe 12.
